In today’s fast paced and constantly evolving health care supply chain environment, strategic planning and quality management play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Effective leadership and sound purchasing principles are also integral to ensuring innovation and continuous improvement.
Learning Objectives:
- Define key strategic planning and quality management concepts.
- Describe several ways to achieve customer service excellence.
- List 12 steps for strategic planning, including the process for implementing a strategic plan framework and how supply chain management can apply these concepts to improve operations.
- Define leadership and list several key attributes of successful leaders.
- State principles of purchasing ethics and recognize conflict of interest situations.
- List multiple regulatory and accreditation agencies and recognize types and the process of product recall.
Upon successful completion of Credential Program, participants will receive:
CECs: 6 - Applicable for ACHE credits
Participants may also apply these CECs to earn up to 6 ACHE Qualified Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation. Participants in this program who wish to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit must self-report their participation. To self-report, participants must log into their MyACHE account and select ACHE Qualified Education Credit.
